The Museum’s Annual Gala, which raises funds for its preservation work and educational programming, was held Saturday, October 8. during which this year’s Achievement Award winner was given to JoeBen Bevirt, Founder and CEO of Joby Aviation, Inc.

“Under JoeBen’s leadership, Joby has developed and pursued certification of state-of-the-art eVTOL aircraft, established strategic partnerships with industry and government agencies, and acquired financial investment to scale manufacturing and realize their vision of a commercially-viable electric ride sharing operation in the near future,” according to Bob Beggs, AHMEC’s Co-Founder and Award Chairman.
